Agarose Particles
BOT Bioparticles offers a comprehensive portfolio of agarose particles and beads that combine excellent biocompatibility with versatile physicochemical properties for a wide range of biomedical and biochemical applications. Agarose, a natural polysaccharide derived from seaweed, serves as the main component of these microsphere materials, featuring adjustable pore size and particle size, as well as high specific surface area.
Our product line includes plain agarose beads and functionalized agarose beads with various surface groups, available in diameter ranges from 50 nm to 120 μm to meet diverse experimental needs. A variety of surface functional groups are available, including amino, carboxyl, streptavidin, biotin, epoxy, and Protein A/G, enabling flexible conjugation of antibodies, nucleic acids, or other affinity ligands. Fluorescent dye-conjugated versions—including ICG and IR780—enable real-time tracking and imaging applications. With uniform size distribution, excellent biocompatibility, and customizable surface properties, these agarose particles serve as versatile tools for affinity chromatography, 3D cell culture, drug delivery, tissue engineering, immunoprecipitation, and bioseparation.
